| "A five-hour trip to the golf course,
strong winds, and cooler weather than they are
used to did not deter the RIS Varsity Golf Team
from playing at top form over the weekend. RIS
golfers competed in the CDNIS Invitational Golf
Tournament in Zhaoqing Golf Resort in the Guongdong
Province of China on January 26-28, 2007.
RIS earned the Overall Team Champion award
after sweeping both Gold and Bronze medals in
the Best Ball event on Friday, and the Gold
medal for the Stroke Play event on Saturday.
