|
|
The United Nations
Environment Programme has contracted RIS
host the first ever Regional Ozone Quiz
competition on our campus 20 and 21 August
2007. Students
from 24 Asian countries will be represented
in the competition which consists of
two national winners from each country.
Contestants are in grades 11 or 12.
Questions for the quiz will be drawn
from the Montreal Protocol to commemorate
its 20th Anniversary.

RIS
has agreed to:
• Coordinate the event
• Find host families for the students
and their accompanying teachers
• Provide venues for the competition
• Generate audio/visual question format
and graphics for the event
• Produce a video of the event
This is another
fantastic opportunity for RIS to showcase
our outstanding people and superb facilities.
This event will be well covered by the
media. We are making arrangements for
MS and HS science students to watch
the semi-final and final rounds. If
you would like to learn more about the
competition or would like to volunteer
to be a host, please contact Ed Woodd
in the School Development office, AD
