RIS Played two competitive games
against high powered Canadian Schools. In the
boys game the Richmond Colts from Vancouver
had won five provincial championships and five
times runners up. The larger Canadian boys took
it to the smaller swifter RIS team beating them
by 18 points. On the girl’s side, the smaller
RIS girls played them toe to toe losing by 4
points in the end. The outcome was not as important
as bridging friendships from across the ocean
between two countries. After the game the girls
enjoyed a pleasant dinner with the Canadian
Girls Team.
