The first delivery of donations
for the Cyclone victims in Burma transpired
this morning. Over fifty boxes of mostly clothing,
2 big boxes of noodles, 1 box of medical needs,
I box of toiletries, 2 boxes of blankets and
2 boxes of canned goods were presented to the
Royal Armed Forces Civil Affair Department .
Major General Pushpong Pongsiri personally welcomed
the RIS delegation and received the donations
presented by Noel and Soe. He conveyed his gratitude
to the whole school. We saw the military truck
pulling away with a truckload of food, drinking
water, etc. on their way to the border for the
distribution. Our donations will be driven to
the border within the next 24 hours.

What Cyclone victims need most;
Food and medicine. We appeal for canned food,
noodles, milk, rice and medicine. One project
that the Thai Scouts initiated is the Rain Harvesting
Kit. This is to collect water to provide safe
drinking water during the rainy season. This
is cost effective compared to transporting bottled
drinking water by truck or helicopter to the
site. Each kit costs B 400 or $ 10. You may
contribute to this cause too.
