2nd Donations Delivery for Burmese Cyclone Victims

Updated Jun 2, 2008

On Thursday, May 29 a truckload of donations was safely delivered . The Royal Thai Armed Forces HQ mobilized all of our aid supplies to the cyclone victims in Burma. These included 200 bags of rice ( 5 kilos each) courtesy of Mrs. Rose Sriprasert, former PA President, 100 Rain Harvesting Kits ( buckets, sheets and ropes), boxes of canned goods, 14 boxes of noodles, 32 boxes of clothing, blankets and pillows, a box of medicine and additional 15 bags of rice.

Fr. Leo Travis and Noel made the formal presentation to MG Visnu Sriyabhandha, Deputy Director of the Royal Thai Armed Forces. In the MG’s speech he assured us that the donations will reach the needy people. RIS/RIST donations were scheduled to be loaded in one of the 10 trucks convoy the next day on its way to the cyclone victims. May they be safe and successful!!!

Our Burma Drive goes on!
