THIMUN 2002
THIMUN 2002 stands for The International Model United Nations to which we will be sending 14 Juniors and Seniors led by Mr. Alex v. Furstenberg, a high school counselor and Miss Bea Toews of the Social Studies Department. This is the first time in the 34 year history of this distinguished academic activity which unites 3,300 students in The Hague, Netherlands, that a school from Thailand will be participating.

SAT I / II Testing
PSAT results will be discussed about December 7th with the current Juniors. We also are working with all Juniors to develop in December a personal testing plan to include any and all IB, AP, SAT, and ACT exams through June of 2003. The first Juniors took the SAT I (early) on October 27th scoring an average of 495 on the verbal and 585 on the math, or 1080 total. This is far better than the average total of 1017 in the USA. We have many test preparation booklets for the SAT I and SAT II, as well software available on 40 computers for the SAT I, and lots of wonderful test prep sites on the high school counseling office web site.
